A successful commercial interior is not only a visual identity. It must support the way customers arrive, teams work, operators deliver service, products are discovered, and brands are remembered.
AfterSense defines that framework, develops the interior design, and coordinates it with the appointed consultants and fit-out contractor. The build remains with specialist delivery partners; the design intent remains clear.
Our scope
Strategy
An agreed brief covering audience, commercial objectives, operational needs, site constraints, budget context and design criteria. The scope and responsibility matrix are established before concept work.
Journey
Spatial layouts that resolve arrival, customer and staff circulation, service routes, storage, dwell points and privacy. Layout decisions are tested against the operating model before materials are selected.
Design
Concept and design development covering materials, lighting intent, furniture, joinery and display. The agreed documentation package can include plans, elevations, key details and material schedules.
Delivery
Design handoff, consultant coordination, sample reviews and responses to contractor design queries within the agreed appointment. Specialist contractors remain responsible for construction and their technical submissions.

Questions
AfterSense defines how a commercial space should perform, develops the interior design, prepares design documentation, and coordinates with the appointed consultant and contractor team. The studio does not act as the general contractor.
The studio works across offices, restaurants, hospitality, retail, exhibitions, showrooms, launches, pop-ups, and other brand-led environments in Dubai, the UAE, and the GCC.
The strongest time is before layouts, authority requirements, MEP coordination, and fit-out budgets are locked. Early involvement lets the visitor journey, operational flow, zoning, and design criteria guide later technical decisions.
Yes. AfterSense can lead the interior design or provide a strategic spatial framework for an existing architect, consultant, fabricator, or fit-out contractor to execute.
Every project begins with a Project Discovery conversation to understand the site, audience, project stage, commercial objectives, programme, timeline, and the right engagement model.
Yes. A Strategic Engagement covers the Define phase: the project brief, audience, journey, zoning priorities and a transferable decision framework. A Full Engagement continues into design and realization coordination. The right appointment depends on the project stage and the team already in place.
Design fees depend on the site area, existing condition, scope, documentation requirements, programme, and level of coordination. AfterSense prepares a tailored proposal after Project Discovery. Construction, specialist consultants, procurement, and authority fees are separate unless the agreed scope explicitly includes them.
AfterSense is an interior design studio and design consultant, not a general contractor. The studio develops and documents the design and coordinates with the appointed delivery team. Construction and any required technical submissions remain with the appointed licensed contractors and consultants, according to the agreed responsibility matrix.
Share the location, floor plans or site area, photographs, project type, current stage, target opening or completion date, budget context, and appointed team. Explain what the space needs to achieve and any known landlord or operational constraints. Missing information can be identified during the conversation.
Share the site, sector, project stage, and what the environment must achieve. We will recommend the right design engagement.
