Fragrance discovery as spatial experience
Emovation Lab is a built multi-brand fragrance activation in the UAE. It brings multiple fragrance brands into one experiential retail environment, with a focus on scent discovery, sensory engagement, and clear movement between brand zones.
Presence without clutter
The project had to give multiple brands a coherent shared environment without visual clutter, unclear circulation, or display logic that reduced the experience to product volume.
- Create a strong arrival moment that signals experiential intent
- Organize multiple brand zones without visual competition
- Support scent discovery through spatial sequencing, not signage alone
Sculptural entry and ceiling as spatial anchor
The arched entry and sculptural ceiling installation establish immediate spatial presence - visitors understand they have entered a designed environment, not a standard retail unit.
Circulation was structured to guide discovery naturally: arrival, orientation, brand exploration, and contemplation zones follow a deliberate sequence.
Define
Discovery journey, brand zones, and circulation sequence
Design
Arched entry, sculptural ceiling, materials, and displays
Realize
Design intent delivered as a built activation
Form follows experiential framework
- Arched entry as the primary spatial gesture and brand signal
- Ceiling installation as a unifying sculptural element across zones
- Material palette calibrated for warmth and sensory calm
- Display integration that keeps product accessible without dominating the space
Spatial direction for a multi-brand activation
- Arrival, orientation, exploration, and contemplation sequence
- Brand-zone organization and circulation logic
- Sculptural entry and ceiling design direction
- Material palette and integrated product displays
- Built experiential retail environment
A built environment with immediate spatial identity
The completed activation delivers a coherent multi-brand fragrance experience with clear spatial hierarchy. Its arched entry and sculptural ceiling give the environment a distinct identity while the sequence keeps product discovery accessible.

The AfterSense project archive spans retail galleries, restaurant interiors, fragrance exhibitions, and cultural activations across Dubai Mall, Dubai Design District, and regional GCC markets. Each case study documents spatial decisions made before build: journey mapping, threshold logic, atmosphere frameworks, material systems, documentation, and contractor coordination.
